Introduction to Tim Bowyer

Tim Bowyer has taught English, authored courses, trained teachers or directed schools in England, France, Spain, Italy, Iran, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Jordan, the UAE and Lebanon. He is the founder of the British Institute schools in Indonesia and creator of the Fonetiks family of websites.

He 'has', as they like to say in the British Council, a number of languages. He is British but currently (February 2008) based in Perth, Western Australia and working in the Middle East, mostly in Lebanon.

His wife is Javanese and he has five children.
